Polish Au Pair Association - PAPA

Polish Au Pair Association was registered on the 10th of August 2001.PO XXI Ns Rej. 4079/01/143. During first conference following authorities were elected for the period of 2 years:

• Krystyna Bujara Paluch ( Maps- Toszek)- Vice- President
• Agnieszka Kapelińska ( Sonia- Koszalin)- Secretary
• Aleksandra Ziętek- Berdychowska and Iwona Balcerzak ( Au Pair International Pl. s.c.- Poznań)- Members.
  
  Purpose of organization's activity
  On the field of co-operation with young people popularization of :
  • Contacts between young people from Poland and people of the same age from other European and non European countries together with increase of their linguistic competences.
  • Creation of student exchange programmes, au pair stays and other projects , which are useful for learning about each other's culture and mutual respect.
  On the field of au pair programme's organization :
  • Providing high quality services according to resolutions of International Au Pair Association (IAPA)
  • Propagation of awareness of common purposes and interests of Association's members including general representation, protection of rights and representation before Government offices and other institutions.
  • Acting and passing judgement on the rules and realization of au pair programme
  • Preparation of au pair educational system and bringing it into effect.
  • Co-operation with other Polish and foreign associations and offices .
  • Postulating for creation of adequate lingustic courses.

  Zasady realizacji programu au pair
  PAPA's members regularly receive updated visa procedure information and owing to mutual co-operation find Host Families for future au pairs quicker and more effectively.
  There have been two all - Polish PAPA Conferences, so far. Participants discussed rules of co-operation , which could help with quick placements. We do realize that your opinion concerning our agencies' professionalism depends highly on quality of our candidates sent to your organizations. This is why we lay emphasis on appropriate selection of candidates.
  I also gave to PAPA's command my handbook for au pairs , which is still being updated on website: www.aupairpl.com.pl/ksiazka/. It turned out to be helpful to all candidates for the position of au pair. This manual contains numerous examples of properly prepared documents , its translations e.t.c. Candidates can make use of it while preparing their applications and getting to know rules of Au Pair programme valid in different countries.
